Good Boss, Bad Boss

I always love this… Your working away, and your boss decided that he should walk around and start checking up on his little army of workers–then pitches in to help out. He gets in there, starts to get his hands right into the production of the day’s workload. He is there not only to show his loyal subjects that he too was once a hard working lackey, but to show that he too can still keep up and do just as good, if not a better job than the rest of them. He starts off at a fever pace, and toils his might for several minutes, then as if planned, his phone goes off, and in a flash he leaves the station and tends to something else. No one else pays to much attention, they keep on working away. I look over at my boss’s faces face, as he scans his workers, and I think to myself he is seeing if they are keeping the new pace that he set. Then I think, “no, he really doesn’t know what’s going on.” Then as the end of the day approaches, I hear him remark: “See, if I can do it, they can too.” Then I say to myself, “buddy, sit there for eight hours, then tell me you can do it too.” *grin*
