Looks like I’m going to be wearing glasses, or at least using reading glasses. I had my eye exam today and the optometrists / Optician said that I do need glasses for reading, and may also or should have, bifocals for general use but it is slight, and that I have a (slight) cataract and astigmatism in one eye. Sounds bleak eh? I knew this day was coming. I have being complaining about this for the last few months now, so I finally got off the couch and did something about it. Almost $100.00 later I was introduced to the world of eye-wear and all its expenses.
A few friends, who are seasoned eyeglass wearers, told me that I should seriously shop around. I told them what this company quoted to me, almost $365.00 just for the reading glasses, and they all said that they would shoot me if I paid that much for them. I got some advice, but only limited information. I’m a newbie with glasses and the world of changing vision.
Anyone got any thoughts on this?
