I was experimenting with PovRay using Kpovmodeler, trying to create “bumpy” objects by just using the “Normal” command function. I can get the surface to look as if it has bumps in a 3D sense, but the object does no truly have the 3D pattern that I wanted.
I can see this will take a bit more time. I can do it using other commands, but I want to create a surface with “bumps” and “dints” by using the least amount of command functions in my scrip.
Still, the 3D surface looks really nice.
