Here are some other shots I took around town yesterday. It appears that spring is well underway as we had some promising warm sunny days that really made the plants take off and sprout their new foliage. Flowers everywhere. And, being that today is also Earth Day, a fitting tribute to the event by showing off some photos of flowers.
A good place for shooting flowers in Fort Langley is the old railway museum at Glover Road and Mavis Avenue. The caretaker there really takes a lot of pride maintaining the gardens there–the work and effort that goes into keeping the plaints healthy and pretty–must be tremendous. This is also where I took the bumblebee shots yesterday too.
A really good macro shot of some flowers along Mavis by the IGA store. My 30mm macro lens–which I really love to use.
