I had to time this shot with the position of the Sun and the people who park their cars along the street, so the only time of day was today at 9:15am. These flowers are part of the array of plower pots along the sidewalk of Mavis Avenue in Fort Langley, and seem to be changed often. I knew that I would have to act fast getting these shots in before the plants were changed over to new ones.
I used a 30mm macro lens with my SonyA55. I wished that I had more time to shoot these flowers becuase people had already started filling up the street, and joggers were crowding the sidewalks blocking the light.
