I thought I would try something simple in Blender today, you know, something to pass the time by on this long weekend here in British Columbia, or most of Canada. So, I tired rendering out some glass objects, like different sizes and shapes of bottles using the feature called, “spin” tool in Blender. I will just show the image that I just rendered, and link the tutorial at the bottom of the post, if you want to try this on your own computer.
As you can see I still have a lot of work to do with Blender file, mainly cleaning up the Subsurf Modifier so that the glass looks more smooth and free of artefacts that you can see in some of the objects on the left. The two objects (bottles) on the right turned out great.
Here is the link for the tutorial that I followed from the Blender Cookie website, called Blender Feature: Using the Spin Tool, January 11, 2012. Enjoy!
