The list of flowers growing here on the farm is still growing. This time it is these pink long, bell shaped flowers that caught my fancy. They are very pretty to photograph, and I was surprised at how these images turned out. Of course waiting for the light meant that I had to shoot these in the late afternoon when the sunlight could get through the clearing of trees.
According to a twitter who I follow, and who responded to my tweet when I posted this photo on Twitter, she says “that’s possibly a foxglove, digitalis.” I should have about fifty of these plants growing in this one area–that is how many little shoots I seen popping up.
And even more surprisingly is that I shot this image with that Sigma 28-300mm lens (on the Sony A77) I just bought a while back on Evil-Bay.
