It appears that last Saturday was the last time I will ever see the Robin family as they have moved: the nest is now empty.
I checked out the nest back on Monday, but only peeked through the bush to see if I could get a glimpse of them, but I neither heard, nor seen any movement. Today I stuck the camera into the bush to get a shot of the nest, and this is the shot I took, above. No question, it is empty.
It has been an interesting four months dealing with the Robin family; everything from bird droppings everywhere to the Dad Robin attacking my windows, to hearing the sounds of the little chicks and their parents collecting food for them. I will miss them.
