Autumnal Equinox

The Autumnal Equinox is today: 12 hours of daylight, 12 hours of night. Welcome to the first day of autumn, or as most people around these parts call it, fall. Goodbye summer, I will miss the warm lazy days and long hours of sunshine.

Astronomy fact: At September, 22, 2013 at 1:44PM, Pacific Standard Time, (in Fort Langley, BC, Canada) the Sun will be (crossing) aligned directly above the (celestial) Equator, and we will get almost exactly 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of night time.
