The old Lombardy Trailer Park is now into its final stages of being transformed from an old R.V. and Camp site park, into a 52 suit detached style home development project. Everything is going on the site but for a few trees when the new homes are built. The change was almost instant (for me) as I drove down Glover Road looking West. The noticeable change in the tree line jolted me when I looked. However, not all noticed the demolition team working until I point it out to them from the street.
The demolition really started to reach a fast pace a couple a days ago, clearing valuable materials from the property before the excavators moved in to flatten the structures, so they have a little more to do before they start the landscaping. Many trees still need to be cleared, plus all the electrical and water lines that were buried for the trailer park area of the site. It also appears that the Laundromat building will be left standing for a little while longer during the construction phase of building the homes.
Looking at the rubble leftover from the living room and kitchen area of the old Olson house.
