The Sudden Onset of a Soaker

It came just as fast as it left. Within two minutes, my laundry, myself, my paperwork were soaked, as I was working outside on my patio getting the last little bit of house chores finished up before I had to head back into town. The mini storm had no warning, it just turned itself on, and went full blast, then diminuendo back to the sunny day that I had started with. All without a trace in the sky. There was a little blast of wind, but the one little cloud that caused it all had already disappeared behind the hill to the West of me. I did catch a few shots of the water drops hitting my patio table once I got all of my things back in side, so I missed the best part with my camera.

Some of my clothes were soaked from the rain, so I guess they will hang inside to dry, as I do not trust the weather for today. The forms (paperwork) that I was working on, I tried drying them out in microwave oven, and to my surprise that worked, except that where I had written with my pen on the paper, the ink stained in a few places.

But what a weird day?

Nice and sunny one second, then a super down pour the next, and then back to happy sunny skies all over again–all within five minutes!

At least one great thing out of all of this: we are getting nice warm spring like days. No complaints here.
