I just thought I would post some photos that I shot over the last couple of day, since we have been getting an awesome week of weather. I just had to get out and do some serious shooting. Some new flowers popped up, and a walk through town (Fort Langley, BC), are my main features here in this post. These are just some various shots that I like.
This shot is a close up image of the first California Poppy to bloom in my flowerbed this year. I should have more to come as I made sure not to weed them out like I did last year, thinking that they were weeds. Now I know. I have to admit that these Poppies look incredibly cool–very alien looking.
I walked through down town yesterday, enjoying the warm summer like air for the beginning of June. I love this type of day, just walking through town, window shopping, or shooting photos. So relaxing.
This shot was taken just behind the Fort Pub, looking at Billy Brown Road in what is known as Bedford Landing, by Fort Langley. The Fraser River is just behind me.
This shot is looking up inside the tower right by the Fort Pub at the Bridge, Fort Trail and Glover Road intersection, or the North end of town. I had really good light to crank the f-stop up and get a really nice detailed sharp image. I was trying to play around with the composition and mix up the geometry a bit, tying to create an eye catching photo that will, hopefully, make the viewer to look hard and see if I am looking up, or down, at the stairs.
