HAPPY NEW YEAR – 2015 is Here!

Happy New Year Everyone! A new fresh year is upon us, and I am so looking forward to it. The twelve months of 2014 were not that bad, but it was not the best year for me overall. So, I am hoping that 2015 is the year that will turn everything around for me, and everyone one else too–I hope. I think the biggest gripe that I had in 2014 was the swift change in my employment: being laid off, then going through the whole job search (only to be disappointed), and then finally working again, but only at less that half of my expectation. I will not make any resolutions, kind of like what I did last year, as New Year’s resolutions are kind of silly–I never keeps them anyway. But I will hold out for hope as I plan on going through some very major changes in the up coming year ahead.

Hoping that 2015 will be the year that changes in the positive direction for me. I have some goals that I want to make. I will be planning on relocating, but I want to keep that under my hat for the time being. The need for finding that perfect job is a constant for me as I currently see nothing here in the Lower Mainland (British Columbia) where I can use my full potential. Also, other big changes that I am looking forward to are: new friends, and a special someone too, and stepping into a new career!

As the hours and minutes tick down to close out 2014, I am left with some final thoughts that the last twelve months were both great, and awful. I dove into photography head one, and actually made some money with it, while going through a stint of unemployment, and an unexpected debt that I will be dragging with me into 2015. I lost some old friends who passed on, while making some new ones who I hope to be with me for the years to come. But in all, I got through it, and starting tomorrow, a whole new era will begin!

I hold up my glass of Root Beer and toast the New Year in! Cheers!
