Today is a scorcher, with little tiny clouds, to few to notice, the sky is a brilliant blue, and the Sun is blasting its rays on us, enough to make your skin sweat buckets. When I stepped outside, around 2:00pm, the heat hit me like a wave of thick goo. Who would have thought, or at least I did not, that Terrace, British Columbia would have weather like this.
I am reading this as “34C”, in the shade! This is on the South side of the building, at my work, but under a overhang ledge from the side of the building. I took this with my Kodak, Point and shoot, pocket camera.
The weather prognosticators are saying that it is going to be like this for the next fifteen days, and that by Saturday, it will get even hotter, reaching possibly 35C or 37C! Not bad weather for being this far North, and near the West Coast. Although the rest of British Columbia has been in the heat-wave much longer than we have, it is nice to know that we get this weather, albeit only for a couple weeks a year.
