Fake Deer on the Skeena River.

Me and Suz., did a short hike on the sand bar North of the Old Skeena River Bridge last weekend (March 21, 2020) It was the spring thing to do, her and I. WE came upon a fake deer that someone before us fashioned together with some wire and dead tree branches. It made me laugh.

There in the background you can see, the Copper Mountain. where I live more at the foot of it. The deer was unexpected. Someone had more time on their hands than we did, to put this together. This is as close to seeing a deer here, as you can get, since they are prone to getting lead Poisoning around here.

It is still cool out. Winter is not quite gone yet, though the days are longer. This we sort of my Spring Equinox hike I do every year. But with work, this weekend will have to do. The day was awesome, not a cloud in the sky. Suz., calls this “a Blue Bird Day,” as the sky is completely blue. I will go with that. Today, it is overcast, with lots of wind, about 20 to 30 K/hr. from the North. Which means cold, cold and more cold, even though it is Sunny out.

Unknown human foot print in the sand, It is cold, but someone could not wait for it to warm up. This is not Big Foot.

I got lots of photos, as we hiked for about an hour, playing in the sand. it was a good workout. Peace and stay clean from the CoVid-19.
