Camping In The Skeena Valley

Well, for the record, I never joined in the full camping experience, as I was porting a head cold, so I tapped out, and left Poor Suzette to camp on her own. She is a big girl, she did awesome for herself, and we had lots of fun while I was there, only less than five Kilometers from my place. SO these were the photographs that I took during the day while I was at her camp site. Even though were camping, the campsite was very close to the comforts of town, less than 1KM away. Friday was sunny, while today was overcast, but no rain. We did a lot of hiking. We covered a lot of ground. I took lots of pictures, while we explored. We have fun.

This image was taken today, while The fire was being restarted. Suzette is offering a drink of her special elixir to the Goddess of Fire, to make it start. It worked, only after a tonne of Fire Starter, and twenty minutes of work. She has taught me to be nice to the Gods, and they will treat you back in kind. We were safe with the fire. Rejoice.

We hiked along the trails of Ferry Island, and saw many interesting things. Plants of all sorts.

Like this yellow moss like plant growing under a Blue Berry Bush. It really stands out. But there were weirder plants the further out we got.

These freakish looking plants are called Ghost Plants (Indain Pipe Plants) because they have no pigment to convert the Sun’s into energy with, so they are translucent. They have flowers, but other than that, you would miss it (10 cm high), if you were not looking for them. We kept the location a secret because these are rare. So when you read this, quickly erase it from your memory, or Suzette will get you.

If you pick these plants, Suzette will find you. She sees you… be warned. If you pick the plant, it turns black.
