The Photo Gallery of all Thomasso’s images.
This was a short walk along the main street of Fort Langley, BC on October 04, 2009. Even though it was cold, and fall had already started, the trees hardly showed it, accept for the odd tree by the cemetery. This is also the first season in decades without the Abloin Ferry in operation, and the town was fairly busy for a weekend afternoon without that traffic. And this was also the weekend before the Cranberry Festival, October 10, 2009. 19 Photos Today is October 31, 2009, but it is also Halloween too, but having such a warm and sunny October day is very unusual around these part that taking the camera out was going to happen regardless of an event or a lovely Saturday afternoon. These photos were taken during a two block walk from my home, then over to the main street of Fort Langley.
I’m really proud of the “wagon-wheel and bench in front of the store window” photo. That image turned out very good. 12 Photos This is a series of 59 images that I took just a couple of hours after the fire had gutted the building. I walked around the whole taking shots from as many spots as I could. This was a a huge loss for the community of Fort Langley as this was the only market.
The fire started around the early hours of Jan 4, 2001, and fully engulfed the building around 5:30am when the fire trucks arrived. The roof had collapsed around 5:30/6:00am. This was a three alarm fire. 56 Photos I have a Sony Alpha33 DLSR now with a kit lens, a 18 to 55mm. I am loving it! Just waiting for any opportunity to get out and use it! Photos: We have the back yard with frozen plants in November, and the night sky with stars, and a walk in the park (Marina Park in Fort Langley, BC) on December 11, 2011, on a very foggy day. 48 Photos These are photos of a little hike I did along Brae Island and the Fraser River by Fort Langley. I really wanted to try out new telephoto lens I just bought for my DLSR, a Sony A33. Although it was overcast and the Sun made a short appearance, I think some of these shot turned out nice. Cannot wait for the Sun to return for some better photos. :) 96 Photos
